Cacao From The Moho River Valley of Belize Unique in Flavor | Grape-Raisin Fruit Notes
Cacao from Belize has a distinct grape or raisin note. The fruit flavor is very forward, you’ll notice this right away. You will also notice how Belizean cacao isn’t bitter.
Try Belizean cacao and enjoy the difference for yourself. It is like seeing in color vs black and white.
Farm to Table Fresh
Jungle Cat’s cacao is grown in the Moho River Valley of the Toledo District of Belize. We go down and collect our cacao at the farm in person and truck it to the port ourselves. We then ship to Florida via ocean freight. After arriving in Florida we ship via over-the-road truck. Once the cacao arrives in Wilmington, NC it spends only a short time on our shelves before being shipped to our customers. Without question – our cacao has a small carbon footprint in comparison to other brands.
Belizean Cacao – Fresh With Fruit Flavor
So much flavor and a nice crisp crunch. Try the Belizean cacao difference.
The tasting notes are cherry, raisin, grapefruit with a strong dark chocolate finish.
Cacao is a superfood, enjoy the health benefits along with the flavor.
Not bitter! Africa sourced and even cacao from other parts of Latin America can have a bitter element – not Belizean cacao. It is unique.
Giving Back – NC, USA books for Belize
The Jungle Cat Cacao shipping container and books from the US being donated to the village schools near our farm.
Pender County NC schoolbooks being donated for the good of the villages near the Jungle Cat Cacao farm.
We then fill the shipping container in the picture with cacao and drive it on that truck up to Belize City where it is loaded onto a ship to sail to Florida.
