Why is the Date Lady so obsessed with dates?

Colleen’s love for dates started when she and her family journeyed to the Middle East. Largely unknown in the U.S., dates were everywhere. After a couple years of bringing home suitcases of dates and date syrup, they realized the only way they could have a running supply would be to create her own company. After a lot of determination, Date Lady was established in May 2012.
